PURPOSE:To obtain the clear fine color picture by providing the picture element of R, B and G of the liquid crystal panel by dislocating the phase in the opposite angle direction for 1/3 mutually in the R, B and G picture element group while the picture element for respective colors is respectively mutually a constant attitude and a constant interval. CONSTITUTION:For a production picture element 31, the mutual arrangement of respective picture elements is determined to the constant attitude as well as the conventional embodiment, and picture elements 32-34 of R, B and G are provided in the multistoried condition by dislocating the phase in the opposite angle direction for 1/3 of respective picture elements mutually at the left upper side, central and right lower directions respectively to the reference surface of a liquid crystal panel 7. These separate transmitting pictures of R, B and G are overlapped and projected to one screen 6, and for the part shown to the hatching, three picture elements 32-34 are overlapped and colored. Consequently, the TFT part, the transparent electrode lead wire part and the mutual border part of respective picture elements 31 are mutually made up and not made prominent by respective picture elements of R, G and B.
