发明名称 OPTICAL MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM
摘要 PURPOSE:To form an optical magnetic recording medium with excellent storage stability, less errors at recording/reproduction and excellent recording sensitivity by forming an intermediate layer on a base while a negative bias voltage is being applied. CONSTITUTION:The intermediate layer 12 is formed on the base 11 while a negative bias voltage within 200V in absolute value is being applied thereto. The absolute value of the negative bias voltage applied thereto is not to exceed 200V, preferably less than 150V. When the absolute value of the bias voltage exceeds 200V, a temperature rise of the base 11 is caused, and it is remarkable especially when a plastic base is used (including a coating base laminating an organic resin layer on glass). In using a plastic as the material of the base 11, the base temperature should be 100 deg.C or below with the said range of the negative bias voltage, preferably within 50 deg.C or below. The other reason why the negative bias voltage is kept within the said range is that the atmospheric gas (such as Ar, N2 or O2) extracted into the intermediate layer 12 is increased above the range.
