PURPOSE:To detect approaching of a person without touching the person and to prevent closing of the window of a vehicle of means of such detecting signal, by installing an infrared detecting means which detects the presence of a heat source such as persons in a position in the vicinity of the window of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A detector 100, formed integrally with an amplifier 2 amplifying a fluctuation in a voltage of the intermediate point of a detecting element 1, is situated to the upper part of a vehicle window. The detector 100 provides a pulsating signal when a heat source, such as arms, enters a space in an opening. A safety circuit 30 including the detector 100 is connected to a control circuit 20, and the circuit 20, when a switch 5 closes contacts 5b and 5c, causes a window driving motor 12 to run forwardly and reversely to bring it into a stop at an arbitrary position. A circuit 30 includes comparators 3 and 4 which compare an amplified pulsating signal voltage from the detector 100 with two thresholds of the one being high and the other being low, and if the voltage exceeds the threshold, the input votages of comparators 18 and 19 are increased. |
