PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can be made compact while discharging ozone and the like generated from an electrostatic charger efficiently and achieving the various kinds of functions. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a rotatable photoreceptor drum 2, a developing unit attaching toner to the surface of the drum 2, a pre-transfer electrostatic charge corotron 25 electrostatically charging the surface of the drum 2 and a pre-transfer electrostatic charge unit 3. The corotron 25 is covered with the unit 3 and the unit 3 is provided with a housing 30 collecting the ozone generated by the electric discharging the corotron 25 and a discharge device discharging the ozone collected by the housing 30 by an air current. Besides, a toner collection chamber 37 collecting the suspending toner which is not attached to the drum 2 from the developing unit is integrally formed with the housing 30 just under a part where the toner is supplied to the drum 2 from the developing unit. Then, the suspending toner is discharged from the chamber 37 by the discharge device. |
