PURPOSE:To attain the practical and quantitative measurement of the blood flowing speed in a direction (x) by reducing the movement components of the subjects in the directions excepting for the direction of a reading slant magnetic field, i.e., the direction (x) so that the effect of said movement components can be neglected to the phase. CONSTITUTION:A sequence control part 201 controls a high frequency pulse transmitter 202, a magnetic field control part 203 which produces a mag netostatic field and a slant magnetic field, and a receiver for 205 for the NMR signal produced from a subject and displays the pictures reformed by a processor 206 on a CRT 207. The polarities are inverted between the slant magnetic fields GZ305 and GZ302. The phase change due to the flowing speed of the GZ302 is set in the direction opposite to the phase change of the GZ305 and the application time of the GZ305 is set at a level about 1.5 times as much as a high frequency pulse width 304. The phase angle of the NMR signal has no relation with the flowing speed in the direction (z), i.e., the slice vertical direction and is proportional to the direction of the reading slant magnetic field, i.e., the direction (x). |
