PURPOSE:To form an optical system driving device with light weight and less in the error of the inclination of a supporting shaft by adopting a constitution that the base of the optical system driving device is removed. CONSTITUTION:An objective lens supporting body 1 is inserted to the supporting shaft 11 via a bearing. An objective lens 2 and a weight 12 having nearly the same weight as that of the lens 2 are fitted in the vicinity of the bearing. A focus coil 3 is wound on the peripheral of the objective lens holder 1 and rectangular tracking coils 4a, 4b are fitted under the coil 3. The support shaft 11 is fixed to an optical head main body 9 directly by a press fitted so that the inclination with respect to the optical axis of the optical system provided to an optical head main body 9 is easily suppressed below 0.1 deg.. Further, tracking permanent magnets 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d and a nonmagnetic body 13 in a way clipping the tracking permanent magnets are fixed to the optical head main body 9 so as to be opposed to the tracking coils 4a, 4b. |
