PURPOSE:To perform easily the verification of an operation by providing a verifying function on the inside of a pulse input device. CONSTITUTION:A test signal is set to a pulse oscillator 4 by an oscillation frequency setting signal 8 generated from an arithmetic controller 1. Subsequently, from a pulse input device operation verifying circuit 9, a switching control signal 7 is generated on a pulse signal changeover switch 5 so that the pulse oscillator 4 is connected to a pulse counter 6. Next, the verifying circuit 9 reads a value of the pulse counter 6, and verifies whether it is equal to a set value to the pulse oscillator 4 or not. In case both of them are not equal, it is decided to be abnormal, and its abnormal pulse input part, a set value, and a read value are sent as verification result data to the arithmetic controller 1. Also, it is outputted to a typewriter 14 or a CRT 13, etc., and the result of verification is informed. |
