PURPOSE:To rapidly determine the positioning of a pressing-in unit by providing a means of indexingly rotating a crankshaft while rotating said pressing-in unit on the axis of said crank shaft. CONSTITUTION:A servomotor 10, a driving cylinder 17, an index motor 11, and a rotation driving mechanism 15 are driven by a previously set operating amount so as to cope with the oil holes 13 of a crankshaft 6. Then, after positioning a pressing-in unit 12 to face to the left end oil hole 13, a steel ball is pressed in and encapsulated in the oil hole 13. Then, in order to press in and encapsulate a steel ball in the second oil hole 13 from the left, a work holder 4 and a movable table 5 are moved while, at the same time, the crankshaft 6 is inverted by the index motor 11. Further, the angle of the pressing-in unit 12 is adjusted by means of the driving cylinder 17 and the rotation driving mechanism 15, to position the pressing-in unit 12 to face to the oil hole 13 and, then, a steel ball is pressed in and encapsulated.
