<p>PURPOSE:To improve resolution and speed of response by scanning infrared beams instead of ultrasonic waves. CONSTITUTION:As to a distance measuring part 1 of a sensor, infrared rays emitted by the light emitting element of a light emitting part irradiates an object to be measured and the reflected light is received by a light receiving part to perform measurement. Then, the sensor at an optional position measures the distance of a measuring point of the optional object to be measured. This information is stored in a memory 6 by a memory controller 5. Then, a pulse motor control part 4 is controlld by an angle in accordance with the desired directional resolution and a pulse motor 3 is driven to rotate the distance measuring part 1. After the rotation is finished, the distance measuring part 1 measures the distance of the new measuring point. This distance information is stored in the memory 6 with rotary angle information from the control part 4 through the controller 5. Afterward, the rotation, distance measurement and information storage are performed by the angle set in advance. Then, the contents of the memory 6 are processed by a microcomputer 7 at a point of time when the distance measurement is finished and a map is made by a map 8. The movement of the titled machine is made possible by controlling and driving a distance part 19 by a driving and control part 18 according to the map.</p> |
