<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the number of IC chips by forming as one chip a DMA being a component of a peripheral circuit, an interruption controller, and two pieces of interval timers. CONSTITUTION:Among peripheral circuits required for constituting a computer system, each IC of a DMA, an interruption controller and two pieces of interval timers is formed as one chip, and used as a custom LSI 20 of a CPU 1. As a result, by improving the degree of integration by forming as one chip a hardware required for a CPU operation, the number of IC chips is decreased, also a high densification of a circuit board is reduced, and the cost is reduced and the reliability is improved.</p> |
