PURPOSE:To improve permeability in a charging layer and to improve the quality of sintered ore as well, by vibrating raw materials transferred onto an elastic sheet to undergo grain size segregation and by stowing the above dividedly on a pallet so that fine grains are in the upper layer and coarse grains are in the lower layer. CONSTITUTION:The blended raw material 7 is discharged from an ore-feeding hopper 1 by a fixed quantity and transferred on the elastic sheet 15. Above- mentioned raw material 7 is periodically vibrated by tightening and loosening the above sheet alternately, so that grain size segregation occurs in the vertical direction of the raw material layer. Subsequently, the above raw material 7 is divided into two layers, the upper and lower layers, so as to be fed onto the pallet 4. Resultingly, the coarse grains are stowed in the lower layer part on this pallet; the fine grains, in the upper layer part.
