PURPOSE:To improve performances of maneuverability, durability and low fuel consumption by using high elasticity factor, high strength vinylon cord having a specified value of yarn elongation and strength for belt cord in a radial tire having multiple reinforced belt layers. CONSTITUTION:High elasticity factor, high strength vinylon, twisted cord having an elongation of 2% or less of a yarn under a stress of 4.5g/d and a strength of 15.0g/d or more used for belt cords are embedded in rubber having a dynamic elasticity factor E of 0.7X10<8>-1.2X10<8>dyne/cm<2>. Here, two or more reinforced belt layers are used and their outermost ends in the lateral directions are turned back. With this constitution, performances of durability, maneuverability, durability in high speed, and low fuel consumption can be improved.
