PURPOSE:To remove an error caused by collecting the radiation energy of a background, by correcting radiation energies from a measuring object after measurement and the background on the basis of the radiation energy only of the background measured by a separate measuring means. CONSTITUTION:Radiation energies of a transmission line and a background are incident on a first detector 4 from a first measuring area through the first optical system 41 of a first radiometer RD1 while the radiation energy only of the background is incident on a second detector 34 from a second measuring area through the second optical system 42 of a second radiometer RD2. The analogue signals outputted from the detectors 14, 34 are converted to digital signals by an A/D converter 49 to be applied to a microcomputer CPU51. CPU52 calculates the temp. of the transmission line by operation on the basis of the radiation ratio of the transmission line set to a radiation ratio setting part 53 and the ratio of the areas of the transmission line and measuring area set to an area ratio setting part 55 in such a state that the effect of the radiation energy from the background in removed.
