PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency by impregnating a solvent which dissolves a membrane to allow selective permeation of gas into a membrane in order to fix enzyme thereto and superposing the membrane to permit the selective permeation of gas on the surface of such membrane. CONSTITUTION:The membrane 1 to be fixed with the enzyme is formed by working a high-polymer material which is insoluble with a solvent to dissolve the membrane 3 to a membrane and uniformly boring many pores 1a for immobilizing the enzyme. The membrane 1 is immersed in a solvent such as acetone to impregnate the solvent 2 into the pores 1a of the membrane 1 and such membrane is imposed on the surface of the membrane 3 which is insoluble in the solvent. The gaseous component generated by an enzyme reaction is permeated in the membrane and the membrane 4 consisting of the high-polymer material which is dissolved by the solvent is superposed in a dry state on the membrane 1, then the solvent 2 impregnated in the membrane 1 contacts the membrane 4 and the contact surface side of the membrane 4 dissolves in the solvent 2. Part 4a thereof flows into the pores 1a. The membrane is rested in this state, then the membrane 4 is immobilized in the state of having part 4a penetrated into the pores 1a of the membrane 1. The enzyme corresponding to an analyzing purpose is fixed onto the surface of the membrane 1 formed in the above-mentioned manner, by which the working efficiency is improved. |
