PURPOSE:The spinner disk is equipped with electric face heaters on the surfaces of its top and bottom walls to effect direct heating of the spinner disk whereby the temperature of the melt-extruded pitch is made exactly controllable. CONSTITUTION:The spinner disk 6 for centrifugal spinning of melted pitch is equipped with electric face heaters 12a and 12b on the outer surfaces of the top wall 6a and bottom wall 6b to effect direct heating of the spinner disk 7. Thus, the temperature of the melt-extruded pitch in the spinner disk is exactly controlled and the pitch is extruded out of the spinning nozzles 8 on the side wall 6c between the top wall 6a and the bottom wall 6b.
