Apparatus for installing tubular rivets. It comprises a threaded rod 42 which is screwed into a rivet R, a manoeuvring screw 8, a crimping nut 27 screwed onto the screw 8 and intended to pull the rod 42, and means 38 for making the nut 27 rotationally secure with respect to the rod 42 when the latter rotates in the screwing direction.
