PURPOSE:To improve the heat resistance of a piezoelectric vibrator and to reduce the cost by fixing piezoelectric oscillation piece holding plate to both ends of tubular insulators by fusing the end parts of the insulators, mounting and fixing piezoelectric oscillation pieces on the piezoelectric oscillation piece holding plates, and welding the piezoelectric oscillation piece holding plates. CONSTITUTION:The insulators 1 are fixed to the piezoelectric oscillation piece holding plates 2 and 2' by being heated and fused with a laser beam, an electron beam, etc. A piezoelectric oscillation piece 4 has excitation electrodes 5 and 5' on the top and reverse surfaces and connection electrodes 6 and 6' connecting the end parts. The piezoelectric oscillation piece 4 is fixed to the piezoelectric oscillation piece holding parts 3 and 3' with conductive silver paste with high heat resistance or bonding materials 8 and 8' made of eutect materials such as PbSn. The lid 7 is formed by cutting or pressing metal such as copper and nickel and fixed to the piezoelectric oscillation piece holding plates 2 and 2' by butt welding, parallel seam welding, etc. Thus there is not leak during solder dipping, heat resistance is obtained, and the cost is reduced because the insulators themselves are welded.
