The invention relates to a lever arrangement of seed drills with a hydraulic cylinder for raising and lowering the drill levers together with the seed coulters and a return spring tensioned during the lowering of the drill levers, and with a blocking device for holding the system in the set position. The object of the invention is to provide a lever arrangement for raising and lowering the drill levers, which is provided with a mechanically acting, continuously adjustable clamping device. This is achieved, according to the invention, in that the lever system for raising and lowering the drill levers is connected by means of a rocker 9 designed as a two-armed lever to a sliding rail 12 guided in a pivotably mounted sliding guide 13 having clamping jaws 18, which allows the sliding rail 12 to slide in the event of a lowering movement of the drill levers and which, in the opposite direction of movement, exerts a clamping effect which is cancelled by means of a switching movement when it is intended to raise the seed coulters. <IMAGE>
