PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a strongly-built filter face having durability by keeping a wire gap distance of a coil spring as a distance according with an aim and extruding filtrate through a clearance of the wire gap of the coil spring. CONSTITUTION:The titled apparatus consists of a coil spring 1, a feed screw 2, a setscrew 3 compressing the coil, an outside cylinder 4, a hopper 5, a bearing 6, a geared motor 7, a trestle 8, a clearance 9 of an outside periphery of the coil spring, a drainage port 10 and a shaft 11 of the geared motor. When a pitch of the coil spring 1 is suitably selected to wind the coil and it is com pressed from both ends of the coil spring 1, a wire gap distance of the coil is shrunk almost uniformly in a range over the whole length of the coil and finally made to zero and the wire is closely stuck to each other. Therefore the wire gap distance is suitably selected and a material to be treated is pressed along the inside surface or the outside surface of the coil and sent while pushing it on the surface of the coil. The filtrate is extruded through the clearances of the wire gaps and cake is sent along the surface of the coil and discharged.
