PURPOSE:To perform car height adjustment quickly by furnishing a common and separate exhaust valves for car height adjusters in the front and rear parts of the car body, supplying compressed air to either of the car height adjusters and exhausting the compressed air from the other. CONSTITUTION:A gas chamber 12 is formed between a cylinder unit 10a of a hydraulic shock absorber 10 and the car body using diaphragm. A compressor 21 is connected to the gas chamber 12 of each pneumatic spring device 6-9 via an air pressure passage 23, which is composed of a common path 23a and a plurality of paths 23b, 23c devoted specially for the purpose. Here the common path 23a is connected with a common exhaust valve 25 while the separate paths 23b, 23c with respectively opening/closing valves 26, 28 and proprietary exhaust valves 27, 29. Each valve is controlled by a control unit 41, and compressed air is supplied to either of the pneumatic spring devices 6-9 in the front ad rear parts of car body while compressed air is exhausted from the other. |
