<p>PURPOSE:To make possible to attach front and rear windshield glass panes onto a vehicle body with the use of a robot, by setting a front side attaching station and a rear side attaching station, and by allowing the robot to move between both attaching stations. CONSTITUTION:First and second windshield glass pane conveying devices 4, 6 which are arranged in series, are laid on a second floor section, and an auxiliary conveying device 8 for introducing a windshield glass panes 2 onto the first conveying device 4 together with front and rear windshield panes are laid on a first floor section. A vehicle body conveying device 13 for intermittently feeding vehicle bodies 12 in the direction of the arrow is also laid in the second floor section in parallel with the first and second conveying devices 4, 6. A windshield glass pane attaching robot 32 which is movable between front and rear attaching positions 54, 56 is arranged between a glass pane supply position 58 at one end of the conveying device 4 and a glass attaching position 50. The attachment of glass panes are started at the front side attaching position 54 remote from the supply position 58.</p> |
