PRODUCTION OF ELECTROCONDUCTIVE POLYMERIC MEMBRANE

PURPOSE:In the formation of a conductive polymeric membrane by electrolytic polymerization, the electrolysis is carried out in then state where the same kind of polymer as that of the polymeric membrane is previously dissolved in the electrolytic solution to inhibit the membrane from dissolving into the solution and make it sure to give the film conductivity. CONSTITUTION:When an electroconductive polymer is formed in the above- mentioned polymeric membrane by electrolysis in the electrolytic solution containing monomers which forms an electroconductive polymer by electrolytic polymerization such as pyrrole or thiophene in the sate where an insulative polymeric membrane is brought into close contact with the anode surface, the same polymer as that of the membrane is dissolved beforehand. The process according to the present invention is suitably used to give electroconductivity to an epoxy adhesive polymeric membrane or a polyamide hot-melt adhesive polymeric membrane.
