In a device for the surgical treatment of bones, especially of fractured bones, comprising a screw having a profiled head, which is preferably convexly rounded, and a screw thread designed as an external screw thread on a cylindrical shaft pointing downwards and forming a structural unit with the screw head which is fixed against rotation, the screw being screwed into a previously cut screw thread using key surfaces with a torque adapted to suit the strength of the internal screw thread by a torque limiter, it is provided, according to the invention, that all parts of the screw 1 be formed from an absorbable material and that the torque limiter 12 be designed as a part of the screw 1 having the key surfaces 15 which extend the screw head at the top and form with the latter a structural unit which can be broken by intended breaking points 14. <IMAGE> |
