PURPOSE:To realize the heat transport of a long distance by connecting a pipeline exclusive used for shifting hydrogen from a heat generation side to a heat utilization side and a pipeline exclusively used for returning hydrogen from the heat utilization side to the heat generation side to two metal hydride vessels provided on the heat generation side and the heat utilization side, in a switchable manner. CONSTITUTION:Assumed that metal hydride vessels 1a and 2a are in a heat utilization step and metal hydride vessels 1b and 2b are in a reproduction step, hydrogen shifts from a metal hydride vessel 1a to a metal hydride vessel 2a via a hydrogen pipeline 21. On the other hand, hydrogen returns from the metal hydride vessel 2b to the metal hydride vessel 1b via a hydrogen pipeline 22. Then, assumed that the metal hydride vessels 1a and 2a are in a reproduction step and metal hydride vessels 1b and 2b are in a heat utilizing step, hydrogen shifts from the metal hydride vessel 1b to the metal hydride vessel 2b via a hydrogen pipeline 21. On the other hand, hydrogen returns from the metal hydride vessel 2a to the metal hydride vessel 1a via a hydrogen pipeline 22. Thus, the hydrogen pipeline 21 is constantly used exclusively for the heat utilization step, and the hydrogen pipeline 22 is constantly used for the reproduction step, and internal hydrogen pressure is maintained at a predetermined value. |
