<p>PURPOSE:The titled yellow composition, containing a specific water-soluble dye as a colorant, having improved water and light resistance after recording without causing clogging, and suitable for printing, writing utensils, recorders and stamping. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous ink composition containing a water-soluble dye of formula I [R1 and R2 are H or sulfone; R3 and R4 are OH, halogen or (substituted) amino; R5 and R6 are alkyl, phenyl, carbamoyl or carboxyl], e.g. the compound of formula II, as a colorant in an amount of preferably 1.5-6pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. ink. 5-30pts.wt. wetting agent, e.g. diethylene glycol, and sodium dehydroacetate as an antifungal agent are, if necessary, added thereto.</p> |
