The cage is in the shape of a tunnel, substantially of the height and length of the animal to be turned over, closed by an upright front door 5 and an upright back door 6. It comprises two pivots with a common horizontal axis 12 on the external faces of its lateral walls, which pivots are mounted so as to rotate in two bearings (such as 10) fixed on two uprights (such as 9) securely fastened to a support framework 7. The floor 1 of the cage can pivot so as to open. Locking means 22, 13 are provided between the support framework and the cage.
