1319734 Perinone dyestuffs FARBENFABRIKEN BAYER AG 19 April 1971 [25 April 1970] 27144/71 Heading C4P The invention comprises perinone dyestuffs having the general formula wherein R is an optionally substituted cyclic amine radical which is attached via the N-atom to the Co group; X is halogen and n is 0, 1 or 2. R is advantageously a radical of a 5-7 membered cyclic amine, e.g. a pyrrolidine, piperidine, hexamethylene imine, morpholine, thiomorpholine or thiomorpholine dioxide radical. The dyes may be prepared by reating a perinonecarboxylic acid halide of formula where Z is a halogen atom with an optionally substituted cyclic amine at 60-220‹ C. in an inert solvent and in the presence of an acid binding agent. The dyes give orange shades on hydrophobic synthetic fibre materials. |
