The invention relates to a device in a sowing machine or fertilizing machine for creating unseeded furrows, so- called driving furrows, in the growth base. When the ratchet wheel is stopped, the spring which is tensioned around the coupling box and allows rotation of the feed roller is released, and the spring simultaneously stops the feed roller.
