PURPOSE:To erase a toner layer without damaging a silicone layer and to prevent the dissolved matter of a toner, etc. from remaining on a plate surface by using 1, 4 dioxane and hydrocarbon solvent as an essential component. CONSTITUTION:This erasing liquid is prepd. by mixing the hydrocarbon solvent which is a poor solvent for the toner and has the swellability of the silicone on the plate surface with the 1, 4 dioxane. The erasing liquid has adequate toner solubility and the excellent erasing liquid characteristics are obtd. The toner image is thereby easily and surely erased without injuring the silicone layer and a known primer layer, etc., provided thereon as the underlying layer. Since the dissolved matter of the toner does not remain on the plate surface, the staining of the erased part and eventually the print staining are eliminated. |
