PURPOSE:To improve the operability by providing a means which detects the length in the direction orthogonal to the feeding direction of a transfer material and a means which moves a lens in the horizontal direction to the surface of an original from the line connecting the middle of a maximum original placing width with that of a maximum image width in accordance with the length of the transfer material. CONSTITUTION:When an original 2 is placed on an original placing glass 1 with its one end abutting with an original abutting plate 50 and an original press-fitting plate 78 is closed, this state is detected by a microswitch 100, and the value of a transfer paper size is inputted by a CPU 101. The CPU 101 operates the extent X of movement of a lens 10 on the basis of a transfer paper size lc and sends a signal to a driver 102 on the basis of the operation result to drive a DC motor 60, and the lens 10 is moved from an optical center position C toward the original abutting member 50 in the direction parallel with the original by the length X. When a copy button is depressed, the image of the original 2 is copied on a transfer paper 17 with unmagnification. Thus, the operability is improved. |
