SIGN READING AND WRITING SYSTEM USING INTEGRATED CIRCUIT CARD

PURPOSE:To inhibit the imitation of a signature written on an integrated circuit IC card by storing the information on the signature in the signature information memory part of the IC card. CONSTITUTION:The information read out of a card reader 31 which receives an IC card and reads the contents of a memory in the card is delivered to a display device 32 containing a personal computer 3 and displayed there. In such a way, a signature written on the card can be displayed at a display part 32 by inserting the IC card storing the signature information to a card slit 31a. Then the signature displayed at the part 32 is collated with the signature written on a writter contract to confirm the identify of the genuine owner of the card.
