<p>PURPOSE:To be able to make no imperfect burning at the burning time and no generation of foul odor at the fire extinction time by placing a catalyst device outside the fire flame area of a burning cylinder at the normal burning time and making the device approach the urning cylinder at the fire extinction time by the operation of an up-down mechanism. CONSTITUTION:At the operation time of ignition, a catalyst device 2 is kept apart from a burning cylinder 1 by upward movement of an up-down mechanism 3 with a cam plate 5 and a lever 8 which are linked with an up-down handle for a wick. Owing to imbalance between air and fuel for a while after ignition, foul odor and imperfect burning gas are generated, however, burning gas is moved upward by a draft force due to burning and reaches the catalyst device 2 to be burnt perfectly there, and therefore foul odor is not generated. At the fire extinction time, the catalyst device 2 moves downward and approaches the burning cylinder 1, and therefore exhaust gas is absorbed in the catalyst device 2 to reduce its generation.</p> |
