PURPOSE:To obtain an immersion oil for a microscope which is odorless and has no toxicity to the human body by selecting at least one kind from specified compds. and compounding the same with a liquid diene polymer which is added with water or steam and is subjected to a thin film evaporation treatment. CONSTITUTION:The immersion oil for the microscope is manufactured by compounding at least one kind of the compd. selected from halogenated paraffin, liquid olefin polymer, liquid satd. hydrocarbon, aliphat. satd. alcohol, alicyclic alcohol, and ester to the liquid diene polymer which is added with water or steam and is subjected to the thin film evaporation treatment. Such immersion oil is odorless and can eliminate toxicity to the human body when such oil is used. |
