<p>PURPOSE:To recover heat energy by providing a preheater for preheating regenerating air with the waste heat of the regenerating air on the inlet side of a heater to heat the regenerating air for regenerating the adsorbent of a dehumidification tower. CONSTITUTION:The air from an air compressor 2 is introduced to an electric heater 7 through an air preheater 19, heated, and supplied to the dehumidification tower 1b to heat and regenerated the adsorbent. The waste air is introduced to the air preheater 19 through a pipeline 13 and the heat is exchanged with the regenerating air. The waste air is further cooled by an air cooler 14, the moisture is converted into drain, and the waste air is dehumidified in a dehumidification tower 1a. Then the regenerating air is sent to the dehumidification tower 1b through a pipeline 11b to cool the high-temp. adsorbent. When cooling is thus completed, the dehumidification towers 1a and 1b are changed over, dehumidification is carried out in the dehumidification tower 1b, and regeneration is performed in the dehumidification tower 1a.</p> |
