<p>Novel vaccines of double-stranded RNA viruses are prepared by psoralen inactivation under mild conditions in an inert atmosphere, optionally in the presence of a mild singlet oxygen scavenger. The resulting inactivated virus can be used as a vaccine for inoculation of hosts to provide for the stimulation of the immune system to the virus.</p> |
