The present invention relates to a device for coupling a load lifting means to a load, the device being screwed into the load and, in order to prevent unacceptable bending stress on the device, must rest smoothly against the outer surface of the load and has an eye which is closed in the form of an annulus. In order to be able to produce such a device easily and to make it possible for the device to be mounted quickly and easily on the load, aligned in accordance with the load and resting without play on the surface of the load, it is provided with an annular eye which is constructed integrally with the threaded part that is to be screwed into the load, as an eyebolt which, at the transition between the threaded part and the eye, has a second external thread on which the nut for resting on the load can be screwed.
