PURPOSE:To reduce the space of an engine room by installing a lubricating-oil pump onto the outer peripheral part in the vicinity of one shaft edge part of a crankshaft and installing a cooling water pump at the near center position between the both banks of a cylinder block. CONSTITUTION:A lubricating oil pump 23 consisting of an internal gear pump is installed onto the outer peripheral part of a crankshaft 3, and directly driven by the crankshaft 3. Over the lubricating pump 23, a cooling water pump 15 is installed at the near center position of the both banks 2a and 2b of a cylinder block. The cooling water pump 15 is driven from the back surface of a timing belt for driving a cam shaft. Thus, the space of an engine room is reduced, and the dimension of car interior can be increased. |
