PURPOSE:To prevent the information in the sector of an adjacent track during the recording by detecting that a light beam gets out of a prescribed track and reducing the output of light beam when the light beam gets out of a prescribed track. CONSTITUTION:An optical head 6 is accessed to a prescribed sector by a command from a CPU 1. A laser drive circuit 5 accesses a guide track and an AT-AF circuit 9 reads address information recorded to all headers of a sector. When the reproduced address is coincident with the address of a prescribed sector, a laser output is used as a recording output to record the information. A dropout detector 19 detects that the optical beam is at the outside of a prescribed track. Further, the CPU 1 acts like a function as a beam output decrease means lowering the output of light beam when the light beam is at the outside of the prescribed sector. Thus, the destruction of information of an adjacent track in a sector is prevented during the recording. |
