ENCLOSED TYPE LEAD STORAGE BATTERY

摘要

PURPOSE:To intend to improve the penetrability of oxygen gas for the retainer of a closed type lead storage battery so as to make the gas absorption reaction on the negative electrode plate easy by making the said retainer with a nonwoven fabric constructed with lyophilic fine glass fiber and water repellent resin fiber and the inverter. CONSTITUTION:Between the positive and the negative electrode plates of an enclosed type lad storage battery a retainer like a mat is inserted as a preserving material of the electrolyte. This retainer is manufactured from an aqueous solution of the mixture consisting of a specified amount of fine glass fiber of specified diameter, a specified amount of fluorocarbon resin fiber of specified diameter and a specified amount of acrylic resin binder as a nonwoven fabric by scooping up with mesh. After drying, this material is used for the retainer, and thereby the penetrability of the oxygen gas for the retainer can be improved to make the gas absorption reaction on the negative electrode plate easy.
