PURPOSE:To provide a recording liquid suitable for writing utensils, printers, esp. ink jet recording system, comprising a coloring matter, specific compound and liquid medium. CONSTITUTION:The objective recording liquid comprising (A) a coloring matter (e.g., C.I. Direct Black 17), (B) pref. 0.5-60wt%, based on the final recording liquid, of a compound of formula (a and c totals <=78; b is 2-15) and (C) a liquid medium (pref. water or a mixture of water and water-soluble organic solvent). |
