The invention relates to an air or gas extraction or inlet orifice for the ventilation of premises. This orifice comprises an adjustable inward-curved shutter 10 and means 16 for controlling this shutter 10, comprising an element 18 disposed downstream and protected by the shutter 10 and characterised in that the said element comprises a bimetallic strip 18, one end 18a of which is fixed to the orifice 1 while the second end 18b is in contact with the shutter 10; this bimetallic strip 18 is equipped with a heat supply means 26 controlled by a device for detecting the humidity of the air or gas and/or a device for detecting the temperature of the air or gas. A ventilation orifice with a simple structure and requiring only a minimal energy consumption is obtained in this way. <IMAGE>
