The invention relates to a fully automatically operating induction hardening machine for heat treating electrically conductive materials with or without feed device, with or without rotational drive for the lower workpiece holder, with or without adjustable tail centre and with or without positioning device for the inductor and has an automatic changing device for inductor and showering fixture, a magazine for storing the inductors and showering fixtures with are not in use, a holding device for providing different workpiece holders and a quick-action changing device for clamping in inductors and showering fixtures in the working position. The machine according to the invention is characterised in that maximum reproducibility is ensured by the exact position of inductor, showering fixture and taps on wood workpiece holder and, in this way, time-consuming re-equipping operations are dispensed with.
