A ball-point pen refill (11) is attached to a sheet-like, roll-up advertising medium which has an at least partially printed sheet with at least two transverse edges (2, 3) extending parallel to each other, on the first transverse edge (2) and parallel thereto. The attachment takes place in such a manner that the ball-point pen refill tip (24) projects beyond the sheet. The sheet can be rolled about the ball-point pen refill to form a roll, in such a manner that only the ball-point pen refill tip projects freely from the roll. A square section of the sheet, adjoining the second transverse edge (3), is provided as a printing area (6). <IMAGE>
