The invention starts from a water aeration apparatus having a distributor tube serving to feed the air and support tubes branched off therefrom for receiving slotted rubber covers, the support tubes being sealed at the free end and from the distributor tube and an anchor extending longitudinally through the support tube by which the support tube can be pressed against the distributor tube and can be held in its horizontal position. In order to ensure good sealing between the support tubes and the distributor tube under changing loads, a rubber compression spring which can be braced by pulling on the anchor is provided by the invention between the anchor and the distributor tube.
