New conical annular components are presented which have axially oriented lugs on their radially inner and outer end sections. Radially inside and outside of the lugs, sealing ring beds are formed, in which plastic sealing rings are inserted. The inside and outside diameters of the lugs create a cross-sectional area of the lugs and sharply delimit the radial dimension of the fluid chambers radially inside and outside the lugs. The components are inserted in a hole in a body whose top is closed by a cap containing an inlet valve and an outlet valve. Below the hole a piston is located, which pumps fluid into the closed hole. The top component of a component column sits against the cap, sealing it. Thus an inner chamber connected to the valves and an outer chamber connected to the piston are created. The construction of the components ensures that the pressure in the chambers does not lift the components of the component column apart, but presses them together so that they are self-sealing. Thus the invention succeeds in creating a pump for non-lubricating media that operates with high efficiency and reliability at up to about 4,000 atmospheres.
