5-aminopentanenitrile compounds of the formula: <IMAGE> in which: Ar represents <IMAGE> in which: R1 is hydrogen, halogen trifluoromethyl or C1-C5-alkoxy, and R2 and R3, which are identical or different, each are hydrogen or C1-C5-alkoxy or together form -O-CH=CH-O- or -O-CH2-O-; or together form with the phenyl ring to which they are bound a benzoxazolyl, benzothiazolyl, benzothiadiazolyl or quinolyl radical; R is C3-C15-alkyl or <IMAGE> in which: X is S or SO2 and Z is hydrogen, chlorine or C1-C5-alkyl or C1-C5-alkoxy; R' is C1-C5-alkyl, and Ar' represents <IMAGE> in which: R'1 is C1-C5-alkyl and R'2 is hydrogen or C1-C4-alkyl; and moreover when R is <IMAGE> Ar' may be <IMAGE> in which Y is C1-C5 alkoxy and Y' is hydrogen or C1-C5 alkoxy These compounds (I), and physiologically tolerable acid salts thereof may be used as medicines especially in the treatment of disorders requiring modulators of transmembrane and intracellular movements of calcium. |
