<p>Coverings for e.g. sport tracks, lining plates, drainage elements, soil-reinforcing coatings etc., produced from granular or fibrous, natural or synthetic fillers and polymeric, synthetic binders are improved by using a binder dissolved in an organic solvent which is completely miscible with water; applying the compsn. layerwise; adding water to precipitate the binder; and removing the solvent-water mixture. The separation of the polymer from the solvent and the removal of the latter occurs easier and more rapidly than by evaporation at ambient temps. The method can be used at temps. down to 0 degrees C.</p> |
