AFTERIMAGE ERASING CIRCUIT FOR PICTURE RECOGNITION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To detect only an object to be recognized truly by excluding a virtual image caused by afterimage. CONSTITUTION:The afterimage is specific to a photoelectric transducing element and in applying low speed shot a picture in the unit of frames sequentially, an afterimage a' by a picture (a) (by the N-th frame) obtained by the N-th TV scanning exists at the same location of a picture (N+1-th frame) obtained by the (N+1)-th TV scanning. The afterimage a' of the (N+1)-th frame is smaller than the picture (a) of the N-th frame in the detection level of picture. In a normal picture recognition device, binary coding processing is applied to an electric signal subject to photoelectric transducing to detect the presence of an object but an afterimage exceeding the threshold value of the binary coding processing is a problem. The problem of the afterimage is solved by providing an afterimage detection binary-coding circuit 3.
