PURPOSE:To obtain the titled easily cookable frozen food useful as a dietary food, by freezing cooked rice after forming to a specific form. CONSTITUTION:Cooked rice prepared by conventional method is pressed in the form of a disk having a diameter of 15-20cm and a diameter/thickness ratio of about 10:1. The disk is radially divided into 8 sections leaving connecting parts having a thickness of about 1/3 of the whole thickness. The disk is separately packaged and stored in frozen state. The packaged disk is taken out of the refrigerator just before a meal, the package is opened and the disk is heated on a frying pan until the lower face of the disk turns to light brown color and served by dividing along the cutting lines. |
