Over-moulded thermoplastic sleeve for loom warp yarn guide hangers - to suppress chatter, wear, yarn breakage or deviation and associated fabric defects

The upper part of the metal rod supporting a guide eye and counterweight for guiding warp yarns entering the shed of a loom is encased in a smooth elongated sheath made of a plastics material by overmoulding. The sheath pref. has a diameter similar to that of a rod-type counterweight and likewise pref. corresponds closely to the width of space available within which the guide moves vertically.
